Jack Ingram Wows Fans At TOC BBQ Nationals
This past Saturday we held our Taste Of Country BBQ nationals at the Eastern Hills Mall in Clarence. It was an awesome day of amazing bbq, beer and music. Our headliner came to us all the way from Nashville. Jack Ingram is no stranger to Buffalo. He has been here several times including his appearance at Darien Lake in 2006 where he opened up for Sugarland.
By the time I brought Jack Ingram and the Beat Up Ford Band onstage about 5:15pm, both he and the audience were ready to rock it out country style. Back by a solid guitar, bass and drums trio, Jack Ingram and company came out with their feet firmly pressed on the accelerator pedal. They were there to entertain this crowd and boy did they ever. Their 90 minute set was rockin' from start to finish. Along the way, Jack entertained the crowd with tidbits of his 21 years on the road, memories of his dad, the Houston Oilers and what's it like to play the real crappy bars. I am substituting a word here because this is a family website. Highlights from his concert included the crowd favorite, "Barbie Doll" as well as his hits from a few years ago like: "Measure Of A Man", "Love You" and his set-closer, "Barefoot and Crazy". This performer from Austin, Texas totally entertained our crowd. We would have him back to Buffalo in a heartbeat. If you were at the show, please log in and tell me what you thought about the concert.
