Buffalo Sabres Player Gets Interviewed By a Miller Lite
The Buffalo Sabres season is over, as they missed the playoffs by two points.
Buffalo finished out the season by defeating both the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets, but the loss to the New Jersey Devils last Tuesday night was the deciding factor for the Sabres being eliminated from playoff contention.
The losing streaks the Sabres had, especially in November, did not help their playoff cause. The Hudson Fasching kick goal in the March 7th road game against the New York Islanders was also a deciding factor, which is less than ideal to think about.

Still, it was smiles after ending the season on a good note in Columbus.
Sabres forward Jeff Skinner was being interviewed by the media after the win and fellow forward Alex Tuch decided to crash the party.

The Sabres enter the off-season with only upside. The only players who have their Buffalo futures up in the air are Kyle Okposo, Victor Olofsson, Zemgus Girgensons and Tyson Jost.
It's hard not to see Olofsson getting traded to another team this summer, as he was a healthy scratch down the stretch, only dressing after Buffalo was eliminated from playoff contention.
General manager Kevyn Adams will likely be in the market for a veteran star player on offense or defense, to solidify the Sabres chances next season as legitimate contenders.
Goaltender is another thing Buffalo likely brings in. Devon Levi likely spends the season with the Sabres, but Craig Anderson is retiring and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen might not be in the Sabres long-term plans.
The 2023 NHL Draft will be in June and free agency starts in July.
