See The New Josh Allen Mural In Western New York

There’s a new mural and a billboard in Western New York featuring our QB, and the Bills Mafia is obsessed. 

Josh Allen has received kudos in a variety of ways around Western New York. Not only is he endorsing a ton of products currently on the shelves at local Tops and Wegmans stores, but last season, a Josh Allen cardboard cutout remained on top of the street sign for Hertel Avenue in Buffalo. 

The cardboard cutout of Allen was taken from a play where he hurdled over a player on the opposing team to keep the ball alive. It was nothing short of spectacular. 

Allen is a football player that has been largely overlooked by the league since he was drafted. You may remember…many football fans in Buffalo, NY were disappointed when they found out that the Bills selected Josh Allen as the 7th overall pick in the draft. 

Now, he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL! Allen even received the honor of being the cover athlete for Madden NFL 24. 

It seems like Josh Allen is finally getting the recognition he deserves, at least in the Buffalo area. Recently, Josh Allen teamed up with Gatorade for perhaps the biggest billboard that Buffalo has ever seen. It is currently up on the Statler building on Delaware Avenue for the next several weeks, but there is a new mural that will be a permanent feature on one local business. 

Located at Sports City Pizza Pub at 1407 Niagara St, a new mural has been designed to recognize Josh Allen’s “Generational tALLENt.”

The mural spells “Tallent” with two “l’s” as a play on Josh Allen’s last name, but people have some mixed views about that creative choice. 

I think it finally highlights the generational talent and star player that is Josh Allen. It took years to prove to fans that he is the guy, so let’s give him this, ok?

The artist, Carl Cordes, is credited for a handful of Buffalo Bills - related murals around Western New York, including the famous yellow coat Keon Coleman mural.
