Junior Achievement of WNY Celebrating Major Milestone
Junior Achievement, the volunteer-driven organization that focuses on bringing work-readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills to local schools is celebrating its 100 anniversary this year.
We took some time to learn more about Junior Achievement of WNY and the impact it has had in Western New York by speaking with Laurie Mahoney, the president of JA of WNY along with Hamburg High School students Nevada and Danner, who have been a part of the program for 2 year and also with Mrs. Lawrence a teacher at Hamburg High School who is a big advocate for the JA of WNY.
The JA of WNY is always looking for business leaders and companies to volunteer to be apart of the program. If you are interested click HERE
The JA of WNY will also be holding its annual Bowl-a-thon on March 7th and 14th. To sign up your business to be a part of the event click HERE
