Back in high school, Wilson worked as a Hannah Montana impersonator. She would book her own shows to perform as Hannah Montana at birthday parties, fairs, and festivals across several states. Once she even performed for child cancer patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

After winning “New Female Artist Of The Year” and “Song of the Year” in 2021, Lainey Wilson’s career took off, and it’s no surprise why she was asked to perform at this year’s Great New York State Fair.
