Large Buck Found on North Collins Highway

This is a beauty, but what a shame! According to this Tweet, this whitetail buck was hit by a vehicle and left on the side of the road.

Although we don't have much more in formation than a photo and speculation that the deer was left behind following a collision on a road between Collins and Gowanda,NY.

According to advice from State Farm:

Call the police. Alert authorities if the deer is blocking traffic and creating a threat for other drivers. If the collision results in injury or property damage, you may need to fill out an official report. This report also can prove useful when filing your insurance claim.
