
Record Setting Buck Already in New York State?
This guy is going to be a monster.
It's only the beginning of June and look at the velvet horns on this guy already. Ironically, the neighborhood that he was seen was called the Enchanted Forest in Lancaster, New York.
The deer who has been lingering around Western New York has its antlers covered in velvet. Typically, deer in Western New York will grow this antlers until the beginning of Fall and then of course, they will shed them.
Could this be a record setter in New York State? Sure looks like it has some potential. One of the biggest deer ever taken in New York State was right here in Western New York.
In 2022, Pless shot an 18-point, 214-2-inch non-typical buck in Niagara County with a bow.
