List of Buffalo Bills Players Inactive Today: A Couple of Surprises
The Buffalo Bills square off against the Pittsburgh Steelers this afternoon at 1 pm at Highmark Stadium and the atmosphere is absolutely electric in Orchard Park.
The Bills will have a fairly healthy team going into the home opener, but a few notable players will be inactive for the Bills this afternoon -- a couple are a surprise.
Running back Zack Moss will be inactive against the Steelers, which many may be surprised about. Moss was a third-round draft pick in 2020 and played all the games he was healthy in a year ago.
This means free agent signing, Matt Breida will play against the Steelers and be paired with Devin Singletary and Reggie Gilliam in the backfield. Taiwan Jones will be a special teamer.
Edge rusher Boogie Basham is also inactive, which is a bit of a surprise, but given the depth the Bills have now on the edge, it meant someone had to sit. Basham was a second round pick in 2021.
Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei will miss today's game with a calf injury as well.
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who was listed as questionable, will play today for the Bills as well.
