Duff's in Orchard Park posted this message to the Governor on their Facebook page inviting the Governor and his whole COVID-19 response team over for a meal.

Now, the Governor did retract his statement and now said wings meet the state minimal food standard to be served with alcohol, but it would still be cool to see the Governor covered in wing sauce with an ice-cold beer. They even offered to pack some wings from other chicken wing places in Western New York to send home with the Governor and his team.

It was a couple of weeks ago the Governor amended the guidelines for alcohol sales at restaurants and bars. Facing an increase of businesses breaking the state guidelines on social distancing and mask-wearing at bars and restaurants, the Governor has now said that anyone being served alcohol must order food.

Currently,, there are several guidelines that bars and restaurants must comply with in order to have indoor and outdoor dining in the state.

Several hundred citations have already been given out across the state with most of the issues happening downstate.

No word yet if the Governor has accepted Duff's offer.
