The Olympics are well underway, but that didn't stop the Mayor of London from trying another stunt to put his city on the map.  However, his stunt lost momentum and left him dangling above a crowd of confused people below.

The Mayor's name is Boris Johnson, and according to ABC News, he was trying to simply enjoy a 1,050-foot zipline ride when he found himself dangling 65 feet from the end of the ride.

The ride stayed open for the rest of the day, and there weren't any other problems.  The organizers of the ride seemed to blame the mayor's shortcoming on "loss of momentum."

“This is great fun but it needs to go faster,” he joked.
