Looks Like Buffalo Got Scammed By Traveling Food Festival

When you go to a food festival, the hope is that the festival with be fun and filled with numerous food vendors. Great food is one of the main draws to any fair or festival and it can also deliver food dishes you can't really get anywhere else.

However, there may be a bad experience, but there was one bad experience that numerous people felt two weekends again in Buffalo and as it turns out, Buffalo isn't the only city with a massive amount of complaints about a traveling food festival,

This past week, came a story from WGRZ about a recent festival that took place at Buffalo RiverWorks. It was a taco and margarita festival that took place two Saturdays ago at Buffalo RiverWorks and it was organized and put on by a company called AZ Food Festivals.

Although the event took place at Buffalo RiverWorks, this was the fault of AZ Food Festivals, not RiverWorks, which is just simply the venue it took place.

According to those who went to this festival, AZ Food Festivals came nowhere close to delivering what they had promised.

There were not nearly as many vendors as advertised. AZ Food Festivals ran out of food and toppings for their tacos and those who went had to wait in line for two hours, which is unheard of for a food festival.

The festival charged people $12 per person and $50 for VIP tickets, which left many upset, and Buffalonians who went say they will never give AZ Food Festivals another chance.

It's not just Buffalo, however. AZ Food Festivals had numerous complaints from mother cities around the country for their traveling food festival professionalism.

The same thing happened at the festival in Pittsburgh, where they ran out of chicken, steak, and toppings and only one food truck.

Because of the bad reputation of the festival and lacking ticket sales, the Oklahoma City Dodgers canceled the festival just days before, as they took the complaints in cities like Buffalo and Pittsburgh very seriously.

Both news stations in Buffalo and Oklahoma City reached out to AZ Food Festivals and the man who runs it, Adam Dobres, but neither got any request for comment returned.

I saw a Reddit thread that was full of complaints from those who went to the event in Buffalo and Buffalo RiverWorks sent an apology to those who went to the event in Buffalo and vowed that AZ Food Festivals would never be allowed back to their facility.

The fact that AZ Food Festivals has not responded to people or responded back to news stations is awful. Now, people are trying to let others know about their bad experiences.
