As the Buffalo Bills get ready for training camp to begin and we are all anxiously waiting for the season to start, there is one popular hotel for fans that is going up for sale. When people from out of town fly in to Buffalo, there are many who choose to stay in the closest hotel to the airport. One of them is being sold and auction soon.

There is nothing like staying in a hotel. Some of my favorite memories from my childhood are of the fun we had in hotels on summer vacations and road trip with the family. There is something special about an indoor pool or the long hallways to walk through and what kid doesn't love and elevator! Come to think of it, IF I had the money, owing a hotel might also be fun. Here comes the opportunity for those with the right cash flow.

According to multiple reports, one of the oldest and most popular hotels in the Buffalo and Western New York area is for sale.

A real estate firm has put the over 300 room Millennium Hotel Buffalo located on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga up for sale and the minimum bid is two-million-dollars. The hotel is still open and operational and the auction is scheduled for September 6th through the 8th.

Now that we have kids, I still love staying in hotels and traveling. Now we look for more "kid friendly" places to stay. Our kids are all under 6-years-old and I understand that most people want to have peace and quiet when they stay in hotels. Our kids are not always that quiet so we bought a camper and do more camping than hotel stays. But for mom and me, an overnight getaway still finds us in a hotel somewhere enjoying the peace and quiet.
