New Mexican Restaurant ‘Casa Azul’ Coming To Buffalo In December

There’s a new Mexican restaurant coming downtown called Casa Azul!  It’s expected to open in December so just a few more days away.  It’s at 128 Genesee Street and will have two floors with two different concepts.

According to Buffalo Rising, the first floor will be a ‘taqueria’ and serve Mexican street fare.  The upstairs will be a little more formal than the downstairs – with a fully developed bar program and serve large plates, share plates, tacos, and more.

Expect owners Victor Parra Gonzalez and Vincenza Lapi to have the lower part of the restaurant open on December 5^th.  The upstairs is expected to open at a later date.
