New Plans Coming To Canalside!

Just when you keep saying to yourself "It looks great here" over and over again down at Canalside, they have more plans in their back pocket. This year, the  Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation just approved 1.3 million dollars for new designs of new facilitates and upgrades for the downtown hot-spot and according to WGRZ here are the specifics:

• Two open air pavilion structures allowing for a range of three-season programming, activities and possibly semi-permanent exhibits and/or experiences.
• Recreation of the brick facade of the Union Steamboat building.
• A backdrop for a concert stage.
• A visitor center.
• Public restrooms.
• A Buffalo Police sub-station.
