If you drive around East Aurora at all, you may have noticed a new sign outside at the former site of a pretty popular restaurant.

The new restaurant is called "Angelina's" and at first look, they're going to specialize in steak and bourbon.  You may remember the building as the former home of "American Grill" at 7901 Seneca St. in East Aurora.

According to the Aurora Bee, the new owner will be none other than the current owner of Orchard Park's "Prohibition 2020," Benjamin Bell.

He's hoping to have the new restaurant open by February 1st, but unfortunately, that depends on all of the proper paperwork getting done by then.  The goal is to be open for brunch, lunch, and dinner, but he also has some space that can be used for meetings or entertainment or banquets.

“I’ll be doing a lot of fundraisers, benefits, anniversary parties, birthday parties, funeral breakfasts, thing like that,” he said. “We have the volleyball courts, as well. Those will be used probably during the week, not too much on the weekends. That would be just a little too much to handle.”

Although the volleyball courts are there and they will probably use them, he admits that they were just a bonus that came along with the property.  He says that he's more of a restaurant guy and he will have some other people to help him to make the most of the volleyball courts.

If the food is anywhere near as good as Prohibition's wings are, this place will be a huge hit.
