If you are one of the millions of students who will be headed off to a college campus soon, be aware that drinking laws still apply.

Governor Andrew Cuomo made the announcement yesterday that the State Liquor Authority would be teaming up with local authorities to sweep businesses that have liquor licenses to make sure that the people who were buying from them were at least 21 years old.

According to WGRZ, similar sweeps that were done this past December and May resulted in the confiscation of over 1000 fake ID's and arrests of over 900 underage people who were trying to buy.
