Most breakup songs are sad and that's one of the great things about country music -- they're real life and you relate to the pain. However, there are some funny breakup songs too. I can't think of a more hilarious yet harsh breakup song, such as "Pray for You" by Jaron and the Long Road to Love.

Jaron and the Long Road to Love is just one person, Jaron Lowenstein. He made his start with his twin brother Evan in pop music in the 90's, performing as Evan and Jaron. In 2009, Jaron would switch to country and signed with Big Machine Records.

Jaron's debut single "Pray for You" was released in December of 2009. The song would peak at #12 on the Mediabase country chart in July of 2010; it reached #13 on Billboard's country airplay chart.

Written by Lowenstein and Joel Brentlinger, "Pray for You" was the lead single off Jaron and the Long Road to Love's album, Getting Dressed in the Dark. Jaron only would chart one more single ("That's Beautiful to Me"), which failed to make the top 40.

I'll never forget the first time I heard this song because I laughed out loud. Much like Steve Holy's "Brand New Girlfriend", the song starts slow but then completely fools you by turning the tables into an upbeat song.

Surely, nobody would actually do the things described in the song but c'mon, most people have been there before with a past relationship and sometimes a song needs to make us have a good laugh. "Pray for You" does that in a very clever way.
