You probably haven't thought about who was in Garth Brooks' road band while he exploded in the 90's, but one of the musicians in his band went on to become a radio artist himself.

Ty England started out as friends in college with Garth Brooks in Oklahoma. When Garth signed his record deal in 1988, he asked England to be his guitarist and backup vocalist on the road.

By 1995, Ty England had signed his own record deal and released his debut single, "Should've Asked Her Faster" off RCA Nashville. The song peaked at number three on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in September of 1995.

Written by Bob DiPiero, Al Anderson and Joe Klimek, the song was the lead single off Ty's self-titled debut album.

England charted five more times between 1995-2001 but the highest of the bunch was "Irresistible You" (#22) in 1996.

By the late 90's, Ty had changed his artist name to Tyler England.

"Should've Asked Her Faster" is one of those funny songs that let's face it guys, we all have experienced at some point in our lives...
