Oscar Officials Thought Jimmy Kimmel Was Pulling A Prank At Oscars–He Explains What Happened

Was the Oscar mix-up a prank by Jimmy Kimmel? The most dramatic 5 minutes in the history of the Academy Awards happened on Sunday night (really, Monday morning) when Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway (Bonnie and Clyde) announced the wrong winner and they claim that the winning card that they were handed had "Emma Stone--La La Land" on it.

Jimmy Kimmel says he was confused about the whole incident and laughed about how he didn't even know who was with which movie at one point when the correct winners, 'Moonlight', came on stage. Kimmel seemed to be taken back when people started asking him if he was trying to pull a prank and says indeed he would have done a better job.
