Popeyes Sells Out Of Their Popular Chicken Sandwiches

It was about two weeks ago when social media turned into a war between fast-food chains, claiming to have the best chicken sandwich. The main back-and-forth was between Chick-Fil-A and Popeyes. That beef (chicken?) has taken an unexpected turn.

In what was a surprising announcement Tuesday night, Popeyes announced they they had sold out of their famous chicken sandwich.

Popeyes says they will not have the sandwich currently at locations but promised it would return.

They also tweeted out that if people want to be the first to know when the sandwich will be back, to download the Popeyes app and to turn on push notifications.

I never even got the chance to try it!
