I had a chance to be at something I have never been at before. A rally for a candidate for the office of President of the United States. OK, politics aside, this was a cool experience. I was reminded of how the candidates back in the day had to shout from a stump or yell from a train and on Friday, Newt Gingrich was able to fly in, use a microphone and media to get his word out.Speaker Gingrich was invited by local developer, Carl Paladino and was here to get his message out prior to Tuesday's primary election here in New York. It's too bad that not all candidates come through here and that not all Americans get to ask questions. I think that the more we can learn about EACH candidate the better a nation we will have. Too often people vote based on party or popularity. I try to hear the message of each candidate and base my decisions on what they intend to do not what they promise to try to do. Substance and legitimate plans go farther in my opinion regarding the future of this country rather than politics and kick backs. Check out some of the photos I was able to take at today's rally!
