Remembering Caylee Anthony, August 9th [VIDEO]

Today is August 9th, my wife's birthday. However the balloon that is hanging from our mailbox today is not for Maribeth, but to remember a special little girl whose tragic death touched us all.

Today is also the birthday of Caylee Anthony, the two-year-old girl who was reported missing in in July 2008. Her skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near her home in Orlando, Florida in December 2008. The mother, Casey Anthony, was tried for the murder of Caylee but was acquitted. She was though convicted of misdemeanor counts of providing false information to police officers.

Remember Caylee, who would have 7 years old today. Watch and listen to this Youtube video from Rascal Flatts' lead singer, Gary LeVox, who co-penned this tribute song called 'She's Going Places'. RIP Caylee. May we never forget you...and all the rest of of the children who have suffered and died as you did.
