Sabres GM Jason Botterill Says He Is Looking To Trade For A Forward
The Sabres have spiraled out of control after their hot start in October to begin the season. They lost to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night, 4-1. The loss is their eighth is nine games. They are currently out of a wild card playoff spot.
Sabres general manager Jason Botterill met with the media before the game and admitted that they are looking to acquire another forward.
“It’s certainly a situation where we’re actively looking to see if we can make our team a little bit better and find a forward out there to help our group,” said Botterill.
The Sabres did make key acquisitions in the off-season with forwards Marcus Johansson, Jimmy Vesey and defensemen Colin Miller and Henri Jokiharju but they desperately need a forward to help out with depth scoring.
The Sabres next play on Thursday night at the Boston Bruins.
