If you've ever craved something sweet, other than cookies, at a Subway restaurant when you're getting your foot-long Black Forest Ham with provolone, looks like you're about to be in luck.

Subway will start test selling Halo Top milkshakes at 1,000 stores, starting July 22nd and running through September 4th.

If you've never heard of Halo Top, it's a healthier version of ice cream, that's fewer calories and more protein. These Halo Top "hand-spun" milkshakes will have 350 calories or less and include 20 grams of protein.

“We enjoy finding creative and innovative ways for people to eat more ice cream (and feel good about it),” added Halo Top’s President & COO, Doug Bouton, “and we think this partnership provides the perfect platform to do just that.”

The six markets that these milkshakes will be sold at are Colorado Springs, Colorado; Hartford, Connecticut; Longview and Tyler, Texas; Salt Lake City; Toledo, Ohio and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Since this is a test run, you very well might see the milkshakes appear in Buffalo area Subways at some point.
