The hurricane-force winds that have been battering the east coast are leaving an impression on the 716.

Wind damage and flooding strikes all over Western New York.

Some of the absolute craziest weather images in a long time have come out of this wind storm.

It happened during Sunday's near hurricane-force wind storm where winds were clocked at 70 mph at the Buffalo airport and at 74 mph in Niagara Falls.

Yesterday's wind storm was one of the strongest I can remember over the past few years.  Airports were closed, tractor trailers were overturned, schools were closed (and some still are).  Today, National Grid is trying to help people who need it after this storm blew through Western New York.
