Tenille Arts Talks About Her New Single with Chris Owen and WYRK [LISTEN]
If you are up early on Saturday mornings (okay, maybe not too early), then make sure to check out the "Nine O'clock News."
Hosted by Chris Owen, the "Nine O'clock News" showcases five new country singles every Saturday at 9 am on 106.5 WYRK; and now, an exciting new feature of the segment will be one of your favorite country artists talking a bit about their current hit single.
The first guest on the "Nine O'clock News" this weekend is 19th & Grand Records recording artist, Tenille Arts!
Arts grew up in Canada and has been making a name for herself not just in Canada, but in the United States as well. She first charted on Canadian country radio in 2017 and recently, scored her first number one hit at U.S. country radio with the fan-favorite, "Somebody Like That." It reached the top of the Mediabase and Billboard Country airplay charts in late April, 2021.
Tenille's latest single is called, "Back Then, Right Now," which was written by Arts, MacKenzie Porter, Parker Welling and Dave Pittenger. It's a fun, upbeat song about growing up and wanting to relive the days of your youth.
You can hear "Back Then, Right Now" on tomorrow's latest episode of the "Nine O'clock News," and you can listen to the full interview below!
Tenille's new album Girl to Girl comes out on Friday, October 22nd!
Stay tuned for who will be the next guest on the "Nine O'clock News."
