There was nothing like walking into the first day of school as a kid with the giant pack of Crayola Crayons. It was right up there with walking in with McDonald's after your mom or dad dropped you off after a doctor's office visit.
The current 152 Count Box of Crayola Crayons has all the favorites -- green, blue, orange, red, yellow, etc. Some cool favorites such as tropical green, turquoise blue, maroon and burnt orange.
But there are some, well, odd or downright wacky colors. Here are the top 10 craziest Crayola Crayon colors.
1. Razzmatazz
A pinkish-red that resembles a raspberry flavored candy, so I guess the name is appropriate. It's a ton of fun to say, so it makes number one.
2. Outer Space
I couldn't believe this was a color. I guess it's the right color for space but looks like a dark gray to me...
3. Periwinkle
It looks like gray mixed with white. Not sure what this color would ever be used for.
4. Jazzberry Jam
Another raspberry inspired color. Another fun one to say.
5. Fuzzy Wuzzy
Actually, this should be higher. Fuzzy Wuzzy (another fun one to say out loud) resembles a red mixed with brown.
6. Unmellow Yellow
No mellow yellow -- but rather, "unmellow yellow."
7. Cornflower
A light blue. I had no idea this was a Crayola Crayon color.
8. Bluetiful
It's a shade of blue, of course. Some hints of purple hidden.
9. Purple Mountains' Majesty
It's a light purple-violet. The creativity in naming this color is strong.
10. Neon Carrot
Looks like a orange carrot with some yellow tones thrown in to make it look lighter.
