If you want to see what we think, you can check out our Mock Draft 1.0 here.  With their playoff run last year, the Bill's landed themselves at the 25th spot in the first round.  Just what kind of player can be found at pick number 25?  Well, we took a look back at the last decade, and here is what we found.

2012 - Dont'a Hightower - LB - New England Patriots

2013 -  Xavier Rhodes - DB - Minnesota Vikings

2014 - Jason Verrett - DB - San Diego Chargers

2015 - Shaq Thompson - LB - Carolina Panthers

2016 - Taylor Decker - OT - Detroit Lions

2017 - Jabrill Peppers - S - Cleveland Browns

2018 - Hayden Hurst - TE - Baltimore Ravens

2019 - Marquise Brown - WR - Baltimore Ravens

2020 - Brandon Aiyuk - WR - San Francisco 49ers

2021 - Travis Etienne - RB - Jacksonville Jaguars

Overall, the 25th pick in the draft over the last decade has been a mixed bag.  The only obvious bust is Jason Verrret by the chargers in 2014.  There have been a few pro-bowlers to come out of the spot (Hightower and Rhodes), team captains(Lawson and Peppers), a serviceable TE in Hayden Hurst, and a few players where the jury is still out.

So, the moral of the story is don't have your hopes too high for the Bills with the 25th pick later this month.  If you recall, the 25th Pick by the Broncos back in 2010 was Tim Tebow, and look how that worked out.

But in the end, the brain trust at 1 Bills drive has been very solid in the draft in recent years., so maybe, just maybe, they will strike first-round gold.
