The One Word You Don’t Ever Say When A Scam Calls You…

I swear they're getting sneakier and sneakier. About 3 times a day I get a spam call.

Scam: 'Hi, how are you'.

Me: 'Good'.

Scam: 'Can you hear me?'

NEVER EVER SAY THE WORD 'YES'

The caller will record your 'Yes' response and then they use that 'yes' as a voice signature.  "This signature can later be used by the scammers to pretend to be the consumer and authorize fraudulent charges via telephone," an FCC news release said.

Another attempt they try and use is 'do you want to be added to the "do not call list"? Don't ever say yes. They can use your 'yes' for future purchases or retrieving personal information by editing calls.
