Today is the day that you can help out Feed More WNY with the "Spread The Love Peanut Butter Drive" that is happening all over Western New York.

Donations come in all shapes and sizes.  They could be a donation of your time, your money, or in the case of a food drive, non-perishable food items.  Today could be the day you help to fill a belly of a family right here in western New York.  It's the "Spread The Love" food drive to benefit Feed More WNY which is the combination of the WNY Food Bank and Meals on Wheels of WNY.

They will be holding the food drive in multiple locations:

  • Aurora Village Shopping Center, 123 Grey St., East Aurora
  • Chautauqua Mall (near JCPenney), 318 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood
  • Kleinhans Music Hall, 3 Symphony Circle, Buffalo
  • NOCO Tonawanda, 2440 Sheridan Drive, Tonawanda
  • Tops Friendly Markets, 5827 S. Transit Road, Lockport

While all non-perishable food items are appreciated there are certain items that food pantries need more than others.  One of those items is peanut butter.  It lasts a long time on shelves.  It can act as a meal or a snack.  It's full of protein, and both kids and adults seem to love it.

If you can make a donation, they could use it today between 10am and 2pm at the locations listed above.  The transaction will be completely free of contact for your safety and the safety of the workers who are collecting the food.

Thank you in advance for helping out in this time of need!
