We are all looking forward to summer.  Hot weather, cold drinks and soon enough, there will be new places to go visit.  Like a new cidery that is beginning to take shape in Hamburg.

According to Stay In Buffalo (Formerly Step Out Buffalo) there's a new cidery planned for the property at 340 Union Street in the Village of Hamburg.  The plans have just been approved by the village board.

The owner is Pat O'Brien.  You may recognize that name as the owner of the Eden Pub in the village of Eden.  He's been working on the project along with Lenny Scilek, owner and operator of MackJac Hard Cider in East Aurora.

The final product would be a 2,720-square-foot multi-level cider manufacturing operation including 4 tanks.  There will also be a 7 room Air bnb on the second floor.

There is no word on when the project will begin construction or when we could expect an opening date.
