Strong Storms Headed To Western New York?

There is nothing like April in New York State. The snow is still flying in some areas, and others are seeing sunshine and springlike temperatures.

But as we start the new month and get to the end of the week, there are some strong storms that will move in to the region.

The old adage about April showers is about to ring true as the weather service is calling for another weather pattern change.

In parts of the United States, there are reports of tornado and storm damage that has torn apart homes and businesses. While it does not seem that we will see that type of weather, it will be wet!

Here in Western New York, there is still plenty of ice on Lake Erie. In fact, there are reports that a ship is still trying to make its way out of Buffalo and is stuck in an ice flow.

Channel 4 in Buffalo claimed there is as much as 500 nautical miles of ice still on Lake Erie!

But for those of us who have lived here our entire lives, this is just another April in New York State, and the best is yet to come as we get ready for Easter and Passover and schools begin their spring breaks.
