Because of the relatively mild weather the Town of Tonawanda has delayed implementing its annual winter time overnight parking ban until November 15th.  The ban usually takes effect each November 1st at 12:01 am.

During the winter months all vehicles must be removed from town roads and highways between the hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 am for the efficient plowing and removal of snow.  Town But with no snow in the immediate forecast the town is pushing the start of the ban to that later date.  Town officials do remind residents that if there is a snowfall prior to November 15th vehicles should be removed from the streets.

The Town of Cheektowaga also announced that overnight parking restrictions in their town won't begin until November 10th.
