Transit Road Speed Limit Has Officially Changed

The Transit Road speed limit has changed in some spots and it is already in affect.

The busiest road in Western New York is seeing some changes in Orchard Park. Orchard Park Police put the reminder on social media on Sunday.

• The speed limit on Transit Road, between 20a and Southwestern Boulevard, going to 50 MPH
• Armor Duells Road, between Chestnut Ridge Road and the 219, now 45 MPH.

Orchard Park has made changes in that specific are the past few years including putting more traffic lights in.

Yes the worst possible speed for horrible fuel efficiency. It's not about safety, it's about revenue. The less gas mileage you get the more Sky high fuel you gotta buy. The worst I have ever seen by a city leader is the Mayor's assault of Speed Humps every 20 feet on 85% of the side streets.. it's a gas waster. Stop, go, stop go, stop, go stop go and it's more wear and tear on the car.. basically the Mayor gave a big FU to the whole city on his way out of office...
