There are some things you just have to do this week and if one of them involves going to a Wegmans in New York State, be prepared for a large crowd!

As we try to find the food and treats we need for Thanksgiving, there is another reason that people will be pouring in to stores this week; SNOW!

The forecast is calling for lake effect snow and the timing is not the best for travelers and for shoppers.

If you are shopping for a turkey, you may be out of luck as this past weekend was super busy in stores! However, the threat of snow has also made things like eggs, bread and milk sparce.

The National Weather Service says: "A trend toward colder than normal temperatures is expected to close out November and start December. This colder air will likely bring the potential for accumulating lake effect snow downwind of the lakes during this period".

Be ready to see lots of other people shopping. The other thing to keep in mind is that parking lots will also be insane. We like to park a little further away from the store when we arrive to shop. There seems to always be parking and it is easier get in and out of the car with our four kids.
