Erie County Is Looking For The Ultimate Fairgoer

It’s an annual honor that only one person receives each year, and there is one stipulation: you have to love the Erie County Fair.

If you or someone you know gets, what others would call, “overly enthusiastic” about the fair each year, they just may be deserving of the title of the Greatest Fair Fan in Western New York.

Loving the fair is just one of the many things that could qualify you for this honor, but there are a few other things the Erie County Fair looks for, too!

What Makes You The Ultimate Fairgoer?

To be chosen as the Greatest Fair Fan, you have to be not only passionate and enthusiastic about the fair – but you also have to actively promote and share your love for the fair with your family, friends, and community.

You can submit nomination forms here, and make sure you fulfill all the requirements.

How To Nominate Someone For Ultimate Fairgoer

All nominations must include a short essay as to why the candidate deserves the title of “Ultimate Fairgoer.” Feel free to include photos, references, news clippings, or other materials to aid your explanation.

The nominations must be submitted no later than Wednesday, July 26, and the winner will be officially announced during a ceremony on opening day at Erie County Fair on Wednesday, August 9th.
