Every year on April 20, those who smoke marijuana will pass the pipe, celebrating the fact that they’re able to enjoy, what some people call, the “devil’s lettuce.”
While marijuana is not legal nationwide, it is legalized in New York state, so you may be looking for a place to go to get your “goods.”

How Did 4/20 Become All About Weed?
The legend has it that a group of high school teenagers in Northern California back in the 1970s used to gather at 4:20 pm to light it up. The group called themselves the “Waldos,” and the reason they chose 4:20 pm as their meet-up time is because they had to work with each other’s schedules, in between school, studying, and sports.
Eventually, 4:20 became a code for smoking marijuana, and it spread like wildfire – all thanks to The Grateful Dead. You can read more about that here.
