Approximately 67 million people watched the Presidential Debate on Tuesday, Sept. 10. That’s a pretty significant increase in viewership from the previous Presidential Debate between the GOP nominee former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden in June, which only brought in 51 million people, according to Axios.
In the past, presidential candidates have participated in three general election debates while vice presidential candidates participated in one. At this time, it is unclear if the presidential candidates for the 2024 election will opt to return to the debate stage one more time.
The election will be held on Tuesday, November 5.
