Whether it's free coffee or discounted food, there are many establishments that are doing their part to say thank you to our frontline workers.  Applebees is joining the cause.

According to WKBW, the national chain will be offering 50% off for frontline workers through the month of May at these Western New York locations:

  • Amherst
  • Batavia
  • Buffalo
  • Blasdell
  • Cheektowaga
  • Lancaster
  • Dunkirk
  • Jamestown
  • Lockport
  • Niagara Falls
  • Olean
  • West Seneca
  • Williamsville

They define front line workers as people who work in hospitals, first responders, and military members.  They ask that you mention that you are a frontline worker when you order on the phone by mentioning Neighborhood Heroes Month.  Then be prepared to show your ID or badge when you pick up your food.

It's simple as that.  It's Applebee's way of saying thanks for doing what you do to keep us safe.
