WNY Bride Gets Uncomfortable Request From Mother-In-Law
Ohhhh, this is a tough situation to be in.
A big wedding day is coming up for one Western New Yorker. The groom's mother, asked the bride-to-be to wear mom's veil that she wore in HER wedding back in 1986, that has been in the family for many generations.
It is important to note that the son is an only-child.
- It caused quite the debate on Facebook over whether or not the new bride should wear it. The groom asked that she wear it and it would mean so much to his mom, after all is it that big of a deal?
- Others are saying absolutely not, this is the new bride's big day and she should be able to wear what she wants. It's quite the situation, but what do you say she does?
Is she obligated to wear the veil?
