WYRK Race Car Returns Saturday in Lancaster

The wet weather has moved on and it's time to get ready for auto racing season in Western New York! The WYRK King Wolf modified car is back in 2017!

In a letter I received at the end of last season from Brian Brunka from King Wolf Racing, he explained:
Sherri Hogan joined my team for the 2016 season and with her 20 plus years as a race car driver and as the driver of the KING WOLF RACING/WYRK #74 SPORTSMAN MODIFIED and we had a great year!

Sherri had the car up front a lot in 2016, finishing top ten most of the season and even had a third place and a couple 4th place finishes,along with leading many laps and winning the checkered flag for a few qualifying races.
2016 was the best year yet for the King Wolf team since they began racing in 2009. Brian went on to say that with Hogan behind the wheel, they finished 4th out of 35 in points.

We are looking forward to the 2017 season with Sherri behind the wheel.

The racing season begins on Saturday afternoon with the Queen City Clash and the 59th season of racing at Lancaster Speedway.
