Darius Rucker has been in the music business for a long time. As many know, Darius is the front-man for the pop rock band, Hootie & the Blowfish. They released singles and albums from 1994-2006.

But in 2008, Darius decided to jump head first into country music starting with his debut single, "Don't Think I Don't Think About It."

Released in May of 2008 off Capitol Records Nashville, the song would reach number one the third week of September on both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts.

Written by Rucker and Clay Mills, the song was the lead single off Darius' Learn to Live album; an album that produced three more hits, including two more number one hits ("It Won't Be Like This For Long" and "Alright").

Darius announced late last year that Hootie & the Blowfish would reunite and embark on a tour with the Barenaked Ladies. Their comeback album will be released on November 1st, titled Imperfect Circle.

The band is on Darius' country label, Capitol Nashville.

I adored "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" when I first heard it. It's a stone cold country tune and Darius sings the heck out of it.
