Buffalo is a pretty remarkable city.  So much so that as a city, there are world records that either took place here, or someone from here achieved them.  We are proud of our pancake flipping marathon running world record holders!  Who knew we held so many pancake records??

So without further ado, here are some of the Guiness World Records that

Largest Ice Maze - This one was a product of the Buffalo Powder Keg Festival from 2010.  It was 1,194.33 m² (12,855.68 ft²) in area, achieved by the Arctic Glacier Ice Maze (USA). The maze was created by Roaming Buffaloes, a social networking club.

Fastest Marathon Flipping A Pancake - This is real!  Mike Cuzzacrea completed the Casino Niagara International Marathon from Buffalo, New York, USA to  Niagara Falls, Canada while flipping a pancake continuously in a frying pan.  His time? 3 hr 2 min 27 sec on 24 October 1999.

Highest Pancake Toss - The monumental toss measured 31 ft 1 in by Dominic Cuzzacrea at the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga, in November 2010.
