Sometimes you need a good country song that makes the best out of a unfortunate circumstance.

In Dierks Bentley's hit "Drunk on a Plane", a man sees his honeymoon go wrong and he's left to ride on an already paid flight, alone...but it doesn't mean he can't still have fun and numb the pain!

Released in April of 2014, the song would hit #1 by the middle of August on both the Mediabase and Billboard country airplay charts; a position it held for two weeks.

Written by Bentley, Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins, "Drunk on a Plane" was the third single off Dierks' Riser album.

"Drunk on a Plane" to date, is Dierks best-selling radio single, being certified three times platinum by the RIAA.

"Drunk on a Plane" is not only a song with a classic "drown out the pain" subject, but it takes place on a plane of all places...when have you ever seen that in a country song? I think that really set it apart and made it a fan favorite.
