One Bills Receiver Ruled Out And One Questionable For Sunday Vs. Indianapolis
Injuries will once again play into the Buffalo Bills game plans for this weekend. They've already ruled one receiver out and another is questionable to play Sunday.
The Buffalo Bills wide receivers are running thin
The injury report is out for the Buffalo Bills and it's pretty lengthy again. It would be easy to confuse this list with the actual 53-man roster because there are so many players on it.
The end of last year and the beginning of this year, the linebacking corps was hit hard by the injury bug. Both starting linebacker Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard have seen time on this list already. But recently it's been the Bills receivers who are running thin with injuries.
Keon Coleman is out against the Colts
This week, the questions have been around rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman and the wrist injury that he sustained on one of the final plays against the Miami Dolphins. Although he took part in stretching drills and some individual drills with coaches on Thursday, he hasn't practiced all week with the team. The Bills have ruled him OUT for the Indianapolis game on Sunday.
There are two players listed as questionable
Last week the questions were around Amari Cooper. Ultimately he ended up missing the game against the Dolphins with a wrist injury. This week, he is still a game time decision as to whether he will play or not. He is officially listed as questionable.
Also listed as questionable on the official injury report is fullback Reggie Gilliam. He has been on this list for the last couple weeks as he is nursing a hip injury. The only other player listed as questionable is linebacker Baylon Spector with a calf injury that we can assume he sustained in practice on Thursday.
The Bills will face off against the Colts on Sunday at 1pm in Indianapolis.
