The Buffalo Bandits Advance To NLL Championship Game
The Buffalo Bandits secured the win against the Toronto Rock in the East Conference Finals. They won the series 2-0, which means the Bandits will be advancing to the National Lacrosse League (NLL) championship game.
This is the second straight NLL Finals game appearance for the Buffalo Bandits, with the last one being played pre-pandemic, during the ‘18-’19 season. The Bandits lost to the Calgary Roughnecks that season, but this year the Bandits are looking to rewrite the narrative.
If the Buffalo Bandits win this year, it will be their first NLL title since 2008.
We are still waiting to find out who will be the Bandits’ opponent in the championship game, but it looks like it will be either the San Diego Seals or the Colorado Mammoth. The Seals have never made it to the Finals in franchise history, but you may remember that the Colorado Mammoth defeated the Bandits back in 2006 for the championship title.
The two teams in the NLL Finals will go head-to-head for Game 1 at the home of the Buffalo Bandits, regardless of the TBA opponent. That game will be held on Saturday, June 4 at 7:30pm ET.
Out of the East and West teams, The Buffalo Bandits have the best record in National Lacrosse League, with that record being 14-4. We will find out who the Bandits play after the San Diego-Colorado series is complete on Saturday, May 28.
Go Bandits!
