The Buffalo Bills not only kick off the 2017 season on Sunday at New Era Field against the New York Jets, they'll be honoring some of the players in what continues to be the biggest comeback in NFL history.  On January 3, 1993 the Bills came from 32 points down to defeat the Houston Oilers in the AFC Wild Card game in Orchard Park.

At least 25 players from that Bills team will be honored at halftime of Sunday's game.  Among them will be Andre Reed who scored three touchdowns and Steve Christie who scored the winning field goal.  Also scheduled to attend are Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Don Beebe and Darryl Talley.

The halftime honors are part of Bills Alumni Weekend which includes a VIP Gala on Saturday, a VIP Tailgate Party on Sunday and Celebrity Charity Golf Classic on Monday.

Also this weekend the Bills along with the rest of the NFL will be supporting the city of Houston and its efforts to rebuild from Hurricane Harvey. Bills fans can text HARVEY to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross relief fund.

Also this weekend's proceeds from the Buffalo Bills Foundation 50/50 Raffle will benefit the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
