Buffalo Council Members Support Raising 198 Speed Limit

At least two members of the Buffalo Common Council support raising the speed limit on the 198 Scajaquada Expressway.

WKBW reports, "Common Councilmembers Joe Golombek and Joel Feroleto have also filed a resolution asking New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to implement a nationwide redesign competition to redesign the Kensington (Route 33) and Scajaquada (Route 198) Expressways, similar to the Skyway redesign competition."

Most recently, Joel Giambra has lead a petition to raise the limit from 30 mph to 55 mph on portions of the roadway.
