An impressive road trip for the Buffalo Sabres.  Robin Lehner stopped 30 shots for his second straight shut out as the Sabres completed a 3-game sweep of their western road trip with Thursday's 4-0 win in Vancouver.

It's just the third time in the team's history that the Sabres have swept a western road trip.  Last time they did it was in 1998.

Quite a turnaround for a team that hit rock bottom last Saturday.  After giving up seven goals to the Dallas Stars the Sabres allowed just one goal in the three games out west.

Sam Reinhart's first period goal turned out to be the game winner.  Nick Baptiste scored his first goal of the season while Kyle Okposo scored on the power play and Johan Larsson scored into an empty net.

While Jack Eichel heads to the All-Star game in Tampa, the Sabres and the rest of the NHL have the weekend off.  The Sabres begin a five-game homestand Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils.
