Buffalo Youth Soccer Club Holding Cleat Exchange This Saturday
If you have kids that play sports, you know how quickly they can outgrow their equipment, and much of the time it is still in very good shape.
So what do you do with it? Sure you can sell it on eBay or on Facebook, but now you can exchange it (at least cleats) for ones that fit!
The Delaware Soccer Club is holding their annual cleat exchange event on Saturday, August 21st at their offices at 1424 Hertel Ave in Buffalo between 9 am and Noon.
It is really simple...you bring in a pair or pairs of cleats and then exchange them for a size that fits your kids. If you don't have cleats, you can pay $5 for a pair of cleats.
I took my son Avry there last year for their cleat exchange and it was great. They have lots of different sizes for both boys and girls and the condition of the cleats ranged from used to barely used to just bought them and my kid already outgrew them!
Also, you can just drop off your kid's old cleats too. Maybe they aren't playing soccer anymore or already got their new boots for the season. They are plenty of kids who would love to have them.
It is a great way to help your kids that giving back to the community is a good thing and makes you feel good too!
Again, most of the cleats will have some wear and tear but you could save a lot of money on cleats.
Also with school starting just around the corner, they are collecting school supplies that they will donate to children in need. You can make a donation of school supplies anytime during the cleat exchange
You can find more details about the cleat exchange at the Delaware Soccer Club's website or down below on their Facebook page.
